Embracing You Podcast

Real Conversations On Eating Disorders, Recovery,
Body Image, and Mental Health

I started the Embracing You Podcast in 2022 because I know firsthand how isolating struggles with body image, disordered eating, and mental health can feel—especially for those who don’t always see their
experiences represented.

My goal is to help you honor and embrace yourselves so you can live your most authentic life.

This podcast is a space for raw, honest conversations that break down stigma and offer hope. Through insightful discussions with experts, advocates, and individuals with lived experience, we explore topics like eating disorder recovery, intuitive movement, body acceptance, and the power of embracing our full stories. Whether you’re on your own healing journey or supporting someone who is, this podcast is here to remind you: you’re not alone.

Featured Episodes:

Episode 7: Body Image with Stefanie Michele

In this episode of "Embracing You," I talk with Binge Eating Recovery & Body Image Coach, Stefanie Michele, about body image. We take the time to define body image, discuss the splitting of mind and body that happens when we struggle with body image, and talk about how we can start the journey to embracing our bodies more. We also learn about the concept of “spamming” and how we can use it to tune out the noise of diet culture.

Episode 30: Creating Space for Men to Heal with Jason Wood

Men can struggle, too. In this episode, I have a conversation with eating disorder advocate, Jason Wood about his own experience of living with an eating disorder and his road to recovery. Throughout the episode, Jason shares his knowledge with us about the importance of creating space for men to know it’s okay to struggle and also things we can actively do to create safer spaces for men to be human. We also chat about our sexuality and how that influences the ways that we view our bodies.

Episode 16: Eating Disorder Awareness and Advocacy with
Miss Arizona

In this episode, Eric chats about eating disorder awareness and advocacy with Melody Pierce, Miss Arizona. They also talk about Melody’s experience of living with an eating disorder, what her recovery process looked like, and how it has influenced her current career as an eating disorder recovery and body acceptance coach. Melody encourages listeners to know that they are capable and worthy of recovery from eating disorders and disordered eating. You won’t want to miss this episode!
